Good morning
We go to these things because we like to get out and enjoy ourselves, which in the great majority of cases we certainly do. But this was a pup.
Yes Phil shows like this are put on to make money, it was a charity show.
We have been to many brilliant ones.

SB like I said in my earlier post, a money making racket which the whole of Christmas has become.
I am not religous,but for people who are Christmas tends to have a very deep meaning,and there's no need for the vast amount of commercialisation which has tended to creep in over the years.

Sorry John as I said before this was a Charity show my wife and I have supported and enjoyed many.
I could never think as you do.
Helping other people is very rewarding despite synics. If you don't want to do it, fine don't do it. Your choice.

SB I missed the point where you said charity show, so ok that's all right.
But I still think Christmas is a rip-off, and I also do a lot of work for nothing which I don't have to talk about.

Morning all.Crisp and sunny over the park this morning.

Talking of charity we chose Greenfingers this year as out gardening related charity on the other channel LOL

So far we have raised over £400 nearer five with gift aid so pleased with that.We did £600 last year but still a month to go .

Greenfingers creates gardens and play areas at hospices for children who have short life expectancy.

Well done Denise, I've just done 90 mins on the Tombola stall at the School, I was just getting my breath back and they tell me we have another session this afternoon.
