Morning all, nice and sunny here at the moment.
Going scouting for a pretty pubs photo.
Denise I went to the car boot in the marina yesterday and picked up this nice little art deco clock/radio for £2, didn't expect it to work when I got back plugged it in and voila it did, will look nice on my bedside cabinet in the new decor, will post a photo later.

Very futuristic John. Looks a bit like the Starship Enterprise.

Morning all

Very warm and muggy here.

John
It looks like you got a real bargain there. I think I remember you saying that the car boot sale in Brighton had moved from up by the Railway Station. Where is it now?

Shame you can't get to the Boots Lynn, are you talking about the one that was at the Wholesale Market ?
That was an odd one I always thought.
John I love that clock.

The postcards I bought are interesting.mainly from the thirties and they are Birthday Greetings, not cards as we think of them although I did get a couple of those.Postcards with pictures of flowers on them saying Happy Birthday Mother etc some of the pictures at first glance are so simular that you think they are the same but not LOLThey seem to be a family collection as the names and address crop up over and over.

Also bought a Teddy Bear encyclopedia, full of colour pics of old teds and info about them right up to the nineties.Lovely book.

Sometimes I don't get anything from the car Boot and I comfort myself by buying plants LOL

Couldn't quite recognise you there Denise. I liked the cat massage facility.

I took my mother to the park yesterday . As you can see below. One couple certainly enjoyed themselves. Only missing a butler with an umbrella
