hi phil and i know you not saying we are in comp with other forums all i was doing was merely pointing out that although our membership is small its a good forum...well i like it anyway...and ive always like the idea of deleting members who dont post after a month or so...mind you say if i went on a world cruise for a couple of months and i would had no access to a pc..or maybe i just wanted a break from them all together i would most certainly inform you first and ask you not to delete me cos when i get back the hammers will be out in full force i was only speakiing hyperthetically of course...wish i could go on a world cruise...
anyhow keep up the good work it is appreciated...

My sentiments exactly, the only reason I don't come on so much is that I like a mental challenge to keep me occupied.
I have never been one for just banter.
Any way here's another photo of my balls, I have no idea what they are for.

I would not dare delete you, I wouldn't have the courage and I wouldn't want part of my anatomy decorating John's pole down in Brighton. Anyway let me explain better, I do not delete those who have posted but have stopped posting.Only those who join but after one month have still not made a single post. If you have not posted after a month then you are never going to.

Your balls have got me mystified, they have obviously been cobbled together from parts salvaged from something else. If you look at the original photo on top of the balls there are two eyelets for connections only one is used. The curved arms kook like they come from a lamp or some sort of lighting that have had new ends bolted or welded on and there is even some reinforcing steel included in the construction. The balls look as if they have been re-polished. I wonder if they were part of a pawnbrokers sign at one time.

Here's another view, taken at 6.am this morning, so no one around to ask.
John
I see now that the steel reinforcing is quite a way in front of the object itself, and they look quite big from this latest angle. Whats with the sawn off lampposts?

Phil, the lamp posts are just that pillar lights, that's why I don't think the balls are lights,I may go down when it's dark and have a look.
