John
Buy one of those extending squeegee mops that window cleaners use now, they are cheap and do a reasonable job.

It would have to be a very extendable one to reach the second floor wouldn't it Phil?

Mike
I think they have them, anyway it depends how tall you are. Now if it was me I would need an extension on the extension.

We went dark and a downpour threatened but just a smattering of rain if you could call it that.
Expect it will happen later.

Morning Phil,I hope it pours down all day, it will wash my windows, living on the 2nd storey it's impossable to get them washed, only those high
reach hoses will do the job, and I'm certainly not paying £20 to have them done, which is the standard charge.
Some years ago you could buy magnetic cleaning pads, one went on the outside, assuming you could reach out and place it there , whilst the other was held against the inside and moved around slowly.
I expect they stopped making them because they don't work with double glazing, unless you have a very powerful electromagnet on the inside.

Did you vote then.
I voted NO.
By the time I had finished felt I had voted in half the population of Lichfield.LABOUR of course.
Ashamed to say only a Tory knocked me door.T hey need to get there finger out and work for people's votes.
Vowed never to vote again but Mrs Pankhurst was haunting me.

Oddly enough it has been very quiet here, I have noticed no one from any party canvassing for the local elections or the referendum. I suppose they will be saying tomorrow that it was a low turnout, but it seems that it has been a low turnout for party helpers as well from whichever party. I did a postal vote earlier in the week for the referendum and just ignored the local election as usual. It would be a waste of time voting as I don't think labour even field a candidate in this ward anyway.
