It sounds like a registry problem to me, the advice given on the internet is to download a free registry repair tool and run a scan to fix your registry.

Morning,me computer driving me nuts,a message keeps coming up on home page saying script running on this page may make your computer run slow allow question mark yes no.
pressed no and it goes off then comes back again a few seconds later.
Not responding to yes or no but have managed to get in here by doing it really quick.
Norton come up with a warning saying high pcu usage by windows explorer
Run a quick scan no probs.............help.

My computer does the same now and then. Has done since I installed new Norton. I just click it off. Had no probles because of it.

Knowing very little about computers and not always being able to get in touch with my son who is very busy since his last promotion. What I do is type the warning response into the Google search engine and you will get hundreds of replies on the subject in hand. I just then sort out the easiest to follow.
