Morning all,
Look it is this simple, we buy things from abroad because it gives Council officials the chance to flit off abroad on a junket. I can remember the time a party of Birmingham Councillors went off to Sweden or Denmark or one of those Netherlands Countries to view some large revolving doors in operation because similar doors had been suggested for some Council building. There was a big stink when it was revealed that they could have seen the exact same doors in operation at Tesco's in Shirley.

You should never forget when it is your money that is being spent, I see that Whitby is being investigated by the Standards Board over his £6000 stay at the Hyatt Hotel during the Conservative Party Conference. With a bit of luck he might get the sack.
