Good evening SB,

One good thing about growing old is that family tend to take you out for treats. Today we were taken for a meal by our granddaughter and her husband. I wasn't allowed to pay for anything and we (Pauline and I) were told to choose anything we wanted fro the menu and anything we wanted to drink. We had a great time and the great grandson enjoyed himself immensely. I just hate to think what it cost them, but I suppose we will make it up to them.

glad you enjoyed being spoilt today phil....we had a good time at the civic reception today...did not march into town as we were unsure if that would happen but i believe about 200 supporters went to the council house...well its back to decortating for me in the morning...
