Being the youngest of 8, now that is tough. I thought shoes were made with holes in. I did'nt wear anything new till I was 18.

morning all..hey john i remember doing the toast on the coal fire and you are right it did taste nice...if i was a bit late for school i would wrap some in grease proof paper and eat it belting up the nursery road lol...never had a lot but happy days...

Morning Lyn,
I see the children on their way to school every day,eating bananas, crisps or some other tit bit,and often wonder if their parents can't be bothered to make them breakfast and just give them money for a snack,and if they also are on their way to work via Starbucks, how times have changed.
