Meteorologists at Birmingham Airport are forecasting a low of -6 tonight. That doesn't sound as bad as -15 thats being forecast elsewhere.

It doesn't seem too bad at the the moment Phil. We'll have to see what happens, although B.ham Airport are quite good usually.

Yes I would have though that it would be much lower than the 0 degrees that it is now if it was going down to -15 tonight.

What is it with you people, it's cold so what,you all have warm homes,think of the folks tha t don't, you do make me laugh sometimes,
remember the old days, coats on the bed, clear the ashes out before you could light a fire, then rolling up newspaper to use as a starter instead of firelighters which came much later, and waiting for your mom to do toast on a homemade fork,usually a bent coat hanger,But I
bet toast never tasted so better.

Good morning all, Just cleaned the fire out, made it up with some fresh wood and coal put the cinders on the path and filled the coal scuttle.
I've got my Toast and Drippng and I've just jumped on the Tram to town. Brrr no heating this morning, Ill have to pop into the cafe for something warm.
