RE: OPEN ALL HOURS - 5

Evening all.
My Decs are down. The fake Xmas tree as left more pine needles on the floor then a real one ????

All decorations down, no problems with fake pine needles but the bits of tinsel are driving me nuts, even found some in the bathroom..

hi all
had grandchildren today, new one is so funny. just been to tescos to pick up a few bits and pieces, the shelves are almost empty.

quite cold and frosty out, think we going to have some wintry weather.

taken most of the christmas decorations down now, used to keep them up for the twelve days.

going to have some tea and settle for the night.

I was on cold turkey yesterday SB

Lyn in the late sixties I worked in Heathmill Lane Deritend. So I was frequently around the area of the Old Crown. On the front of the crown was a workshop, it was at the far right hand end ( now part of the pub.)
As far as I know all that shop did was refurbish those cast iron tables. Many times I have seen tatty ones going in and new ones coming out. all had new tops and were painted up.
You can imagine how many pubs had them, it must have been a major job. I worked there for a couple of years and it was still going when I left in 1968 I'm sure.

We have just done 57000 posts. (thought I'd mention it).

Going off to watch Mrs Browns boys, its quite funny.
So its goodnight from me.

thats the programme i was telling you about last week SB...its hilarious..night..
