i dont get many winter colds only suffer in the summer. i always keep my bedroom window open so have fresh air coming in at all times. i do have fresh lemon, honey and ginger to drink first in the mornings. i also try to eat a small red onion, which is supposed to keep colds away. i bet i get one now, lol. central heating is the worst thing you can have, just warm the place up, then shut it off, eat plenty of root vegetables, stews, soups etc . and go for walks in the fresh air. when we lived in wales as children we never had colds, we walked to school, to the shops everywhere in fact and never had central heating only coal fires.

take care tho everyone out there who has the lurgy and a speedy recovery

Good evening everyone. I get my fair share of colds which I put down mostly to the great unwashed on public transport. There are more germs flying about on one full bus than there was in the whole of London during the black death.
These days I have a useful small bottle of Antiseptic Gel to rub on my hands when I get to work, when people cough sometimes into their hands and then hold the hand bars which you have to do because all bus drivers accelerate or brake hard when passengers are walking down the bus because it's fun to try and kill them, also it's great fun for the drivers to speed up when steering round corners, this I think is in the drivers manual because they all do it.

Just a cotton pickin minute there you two. If you lot can catch a dose of what I had from your computers, then your systems need debugging, maybe even defragging. Maybe you should stop sniffing your screens. by the way I held my breath while I posted this public service announcement. SB[Sob Story]
