Steph

I would have thought that owls would have been attracted by mice. I think if you had one nesting in your garden the mice would vacate the premises.

Morning all,

Looks like our intrepid explorers had a good day yesterday, I'm sorry that I couldn't make it but we had a funeral yesterday. One of my wifes elderly aunts, but we had to show our faces even though we only stopped a couple of hours.

Never look down at anybody, unless you are helping them up.

Yes we had a really good day yesterday, The Black Country Museum has grown enormously over the last few years. There are far more buildings and transport exhibits than I have seen before.
What I will say is one day is not enough for a good look around. The site is well run, no-one bothers you and food and drink is reasonably priced.
Buses from Birmingham are regular and of course free on an over sixties pass. Buses from Brum take at least an hour though.
The fish an chip shops are very good with the frying done in beef dripping. The Bottle and Glass Pub iss also very good with its sawdust on the floor and Draught beers.
