morning den ive not read any of her books but sad news...also RIP geoffrey hughes who has died aged 68...he played eddie yates in cornonation st and vernon in heartbeat..

The fact that I personally have never heard of her makes the death of this lady no less sadder. We need all the talented people that this world can produce, especially writers. What did she write? as it's strange I have never heard of her.

Saw The Heron really close up tonight on the dog walk.These things help make a happy day.

well ive got 4 fish in the pond den and as soon as the heron first appeared i covered it with chicken wire..the people over the road had a massive pond with about 50 fish in and the heron cleared the lot...
