On the spoof program twenty twelve a few nights ago they did a bit where soem arty person decided to have an "event", where people would rattle the nearest thing to them at the given time, bell or chains or whatever. The noise on radio 4 at 8.00 this morning sounded as if the idea had been taken up. As you all say, heard nothing where i live, but then there are no churches with bells within hearing distance

glad everything ok with baby den and congratulations with new one due. i nt heard any bells either. cooling down a bit noaaw
but have managed to do the garden and wash a lot of carpets and curtains.catch you all again soon

I was very sad to hear today of the death of David Barby.He was a presenter on all the Antique programmes and I met him last year when he came to film where I work.RIP David.
