................. Had I even suggested to the grandson that we walk from our house to his in Hall Green (about 3 miles or so) we would have had a lodger for the night.

Three Miles? That isn't a walk, that's a day out.
The only way I would walk three miles in Birmingham is if it was towards my car.

Volty

When I was a bit of a lad like you, I used to walk three miles before breakfast. I used to love walking, when my sister married my best mate they lived in Northfield. The brother in law and myself used to walk from Northfield to Balsall Heath and back at least twice a week and sometimes three.

We got stopped by the police once who had watched us over a few weeks walking up and down Bristol Rd they said we were acting suspiciously and couldn't believe when they searched that we were quite flush and we had well more than enough money on us to pay the bus fare or even for a taxi if we wished. They couldn't believe that anybody would want to walk that distance through choice

Morning Lyn and Graham.
We have one very good camera shop in Brighton, selling new and second hand goods at reasonable prices.
Trouble now with the likes of Currys,Dixons, and PC World they hold the monopoly, even though they are one and the same,
I went online to get the Touchpad, even though they were all listing it none of them had it in stock, got it from Morgan computers who have some amazing deals on at the moment.
Sunny ,very warm, but last day of it,rain forecast tomorrow.

We have a shop in Birmingham High Street, it's Called Black. It' PC World and Currys together it's a very clinical almost sterile atmosphere and its very dark inside, I hate the place.
