Morning all

it's taking them long enough to repair your phone isn't it, Is it on a contract? Most phone companies just exchange it for a new one these days. They don't even bother with a repair in my experience. The one I pay for that my granddaughter has is a recent replacement.
Phil
Phil my phone is on contract, it's got a software problem, if it can't be corrected it will be replaced. But they don't swap a £400 phone that easy.

Then I suggest you swap suppliers, the one I have on contract for my granddaughter is one of the latest you can get. The contract costs me £37 per month. When it went wrong a few months after she had it, after I contacted them about it they tried to give me the runaround, but after I asked them a few choice questions enquiring what exactly what I was paying for they exchanged it right away for a brand new phone
Phil
I'm certainly not swapping supplier Phil witth my phone I get free Home broadband, so my internet costs nowt, and a free phone plugged into my modem which costs nothing for any call 24/7 all that for £27.50 per month. I can stand a little inconvenience. Six years ago I was paying £33 for AOL and £33 for my mobile. So £27.50 down from £66 is pretty good.

The granddaughter gets all that, except there is a limit on her call, but it is so great a limit that she never goes over. She doesn't get the home broadband either but she doesn't need that as her father has that and I have it here. But she does (or rather I) get a good service and I have always thought that much to be preferred. The reason why she has the phone and I've always paid for it is that we have always known where she is and that she has been safe. My other granddaughters have always had phones, but they are my sons daughters and hes always been able to afford them himself.

I'm just watching the Coast programme at the moment. they are up in the Scottish islands. It's amazing how little some of us know about the UK.
