Morning Lyn, same here ,been tipping it down since yesterday , and we have a hose pipe ban,my friend has an allotment and he was told the ban does not apply if you are over 60,don't know how true that is.
Still doing all my housework, and just preparing a chicken curry for tonight,I very often have a change from the normal Sunday roast, even though it remains my favourite meal, what you got planned.
morning john..gale force here now...holing up for the day after i have been to the shop...got roast chicken this week but very often i could quite easily do home made chips..sos..egg and beans with bread and butter...

Someone talking about me?
I'll have you two know I have been up for an hour, what's more I am off out in a few minutes, the flourescant light tube has gone in the kitchen, it looked very romantic in there last night. Or as my missus said Dull.
Good morning everyone.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

Thank you John. I doubt if Volty would have light tubes, he hasn't done that kind of electrics for years. And yes I know about the starters as they are less than a quid I always have at least two spares in hand.
I have just come through the Yew Tree on the bus and there is a gang of men working in a roadside trench and as its been bucketting down for about 12 hours and still is they must be in a right mess.

I have often wondered why we don't do as they do in America in these cases, erect a simple scaffold frame cover it with clear plastic sheet, solved ,work in any weather, they use this method all over the States, so simple.
