It's beginning to get really windy here, I've just been out in the garden lashing everything down.

morning all..SB i am grateful for the rain as my lawn was a complete disaster last year..my fault as i put evergreen moss and weed killer down far too early..the frost got to it and burnt the lawn and i ended up with many bare patches..its all coming back now and im keeping away from the evergreen this year...[Big Smile]

Can someone explain to me how it is that limited companies, which sell a product that we all use, can not only tell us how to use that product but can fine us £1000 if we fail to comply?

I am, of course, talking about the water companies and their legendary hose pipe ban.

I have to go now, Tesco are at the door to beat me up about the way I use tinned goods.

You and I should use an endless stream of vowels and consonants to form the words we will use to effectively assemble a forceful tirade of well constructed sentences which will aid and assist us in our tireless struggle to virtually eliminate verbosity

Morning All

Volty,Yes it's more than a little strange the power that utility companies have. Are they still allowed to cit off supplies without court orders? Thus endangering life and health.

Morning Lyn, It's pretty grim here cold and overcast.

Volty, another thing how can a car clamping company clamp and tow away your car without being charged with theft?

Lyn

The weather or temperature will make no difference to our grandkids, there are plenty of indoor attractions so they will still do their level best to bankrupt their grandparents.
