It won't be very cold though Signman, it's 3.1º here and snowing heavily but won't stick because the ground is too wet and warm.
I've noticed it usually snows when the temperature at ground level is between 2º and 3º, not the sub zero levels you have a liking for.

just been up the shops...wind nearly blew me off me feet but we are on high ground...freezing cold...snowing...
