Astwood

its all a con to raise more money from us working class to give to those who have more than they know what to do with.

I'm just waiting for the budget that puts up taxes on beef and lamb and other red meats because it's bad for you.

I think to be fair with regard to hot pies, there should be removal of all subsidies to catering and drinking in the House of Commons.Lords bars and restaurants., and they should have to pay an economic rent for the space they use and repairs to the building, this all to be factored into the prices. As I understand it, a really good large steak costs about £7 there , and drinks are cheaper than working mens clubs.

Morning All

Anybody been queueing For petrol yet? I noticed a few queues forming yesterday. Apparently it's down to that fool Cameron who said yesterday that though there should be no need for people to queue, although he advised people to top up.

morning phil...what annoys me is that we are not even sure there will be a petrol strike..i dont drive but both my lads have motorbikes and all they are doing is to top up the tanks today..they certainly wont be stock piling petrol in cans in the garage...panic buying is what will cause a shortage....

I only fill up once a month but I think perhaps I should fill the bath, just in case.

You and I should use an endless stream of vowels and consonants to form the words we will use to effectively assemble a forceful tirade of well constructed sentences which will aid and assist us in our tireless struggle to virtually eliminate verbosity

Well according to what I hear, they have a meeting on Monday. If it's decided at that meeting to strike then they have to give seven days notice. So it's going to be normal supplies for the next ten days at least.

Good morning each,

Yes there seems to be a bit of a change this morning, still it might brighten up later. Mind you the Bank Holiday is just around the corner and we all know that means rain.
