Morning all,Jim is a bit better today but still feels grotty so I have put me foot down and said no work.

He has a long commute and I am not going to spend all day worrying about him.He decided he needed fresh air last night and threw up.Why does he need to battle to work when feeling ill? They will not give out any medals for attending.

Two people attended work where I am with streaming colds pre Christmas............I asked them why they thought it was OK to wreck my Christmas.Plus I just ended up making them hot drinks and saying don't worry I will do it......they may as well have stayed home.I banned them from answering the phone and kept my distance.

Lyn,we were really busy on Saturday,t was a surprise as apart from a busy Bank Holiday the rest of the week was slow.

I think January and February will be hard months particularly this year in retail.

Here we are on the 9th of January and still no severe low temperatures yet so far. The forecast says nothing expected within the next ten days. Do you think the worst is yet to come or are we to believe all we hear about climate change?

But you might make £5-10. That's not bad for a second hand table.
