Spelunking ?

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Having done a very little bit of cave exploring when I was younger, I know how dangerous it can be, so the only way I would consider anything like it today is as I did today on a canal boat at the Black Country Museum.

Yes it was my second time today and believe me it was the coldest ever. Even the bloke driving the barge commented how cold it was. The wind was blowing through the tunnels like a hurricane. I had to go and have a drink of cider and sit by the fire in the Bottle & Glass.

As I said yesterday, I thought it was so nice a day that we would try a day out today. So we just went hoping it would warm up a little during the day. It wasn't to be, but we made a day of it and the wife and I went and took the granddaughter and great grandson. I'm always gobsmacked how little our young know about our past. I'm afraid if it hasn't got fur or feathers then my granddaughter hasn't got a clue.
