morning phil...more than a light dusting here...my sister who lives in west heath had to pop to nearby cotteridge early thursday morning...by 11 oclock all the buses over that way had been taken off and she had a 2 hour walk to get back home...

Sorry Lyn I didn't make myself clear What I meant was we only had a light dusting last night. I think the previous downfall was pretty much the same all over the midlands.

Just got back from walking the dog, picturesque or not it's cold, body warmer, topcoat, hat, scarf & gloves and I was still cold. I was like a little round sack of rags being pulled along by a dog. I'm thinking of getting a sledge, that will give Zane some proper exercise.

phil...snow getting heavier now over this way..the sky look full of it to me...
we have lean to out the back going almost the width of the house..certainly not made to withstand the weight of the snow that was on it so our john has tied a rake to a broom for extra reach and weve been hanging out my bedroom window pushing the snow off... all good fun
