That reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine in Chichester. it would be back in the 1960s. He occasionally had to accompany people who were seizing possessions (can't remember if it was the tax or the excise office he worked for as a dogsbody). They used outside firms to transport the items. He went off one day with a bloke in a lorry, told him where to go and then pointed out the house. the driver drove straight past. My friend said "Stop, you went past it". Only to receive the reply " I'm not bloody going there, that's my house "
