We usually go on line see if they have a web site ,to look for remarks ,but as we had been busy we took a chance ,we will know better next time.

Just remember Jo if you are the sort of person that thanks people for good service and recommends certain places. That gives you the perfect right to tell everyone about rubbish service.

Don't know whats the matter with that pub it's on a main road ,big car park ,garden and play area for kids,it's quite a big place ,but it's had 3 different managers in just under 2 years, think it's owned by greenhalls brewery.

Theres a little pub not far from us ,the landlord retired last june ,someone has now got it been doing it up ,it opens next weekend, might just pop round and have a look.

Somewhere we had a thread for naming good and bad hostelries. It's about time it was reopened, if not I will start one.

You'll probably find half of them have closed by now,just in our area have gone in the last 12 months
