Good evening Astwood and everyone, yes a nicer day but I think it's cold again tonight. No Lady Astoness tonight she is sloshing around somewhere in Snowdonia.

Hello and good evening. Well we had a reasonably busy weekend, started Saturday with shopping at Morrisons first thing in the morning. Then off to Yardley Church hall for their beer festival, had a couple of ciders then off home to get changed for a show at St Giles, Sheldon Church hall. This show was absolutely excellent. There was a group of singers called Enchant whose harmonies were just magical. There was also a Violinist called Ralph Allin, this guy has been playing since he was six years old. He is a superb classical musician and he also tours as The Ralph Allin Trio, they play the most fantastic Jazz music I have heard in my life. Ralph Allin can be easily found on UTube. Then today I cleaned my pond filter, planted some pots up and pruned some lilac tree branches. I'll be glad to go to work for a rest tomorrow. Only doing a half day though, I am taking the photo's at a wedding in the afternoon. I must find a hobby for my spare time.
