Come back to find my tomatoes have blight so fed up as they have nearly all had it.

The ones in pots seem ok but after all that tending it is sad.Mind you have been having blight alerts for weeks now in south staffs so no big shock raally.

Blight can affect potatoes and tomatotoes and caused the potaoto famine in Ireland all those years ago.Still no cure for it really.

As this seems one of the most popular threads, can I ask all those who haven't yet done so to look at the Rules Information & Announcement Page. Under New Announcements

Thanks

We're always here for you Lyn.
Another bright, sunny day here, a bit of local news, a badly burned body with one foot missing has been found on a Brighton golf course.
A local man has just been sentenced to 12 years for holding his 3 year old daughters hand under a scalding hot tap as a form of punishment,
she will have to undergo skin grafts.
And on a lighter note, some p**t who got caught on a speed camera said it must have been a low flying aircraft-- he was fined £300 , 10 points
and £3,000 costs.

Good morning John and everyone
It's a bit overcast here in Brum.
John, I found the plant that you were asking about the other day. At the Garden Show in Kings Heath. If you google
AEONIUM SCHWARZKOPF it's from the family CRASSULACEA (Stonecrops). It was a beautiful plant about Two feet high. SB

Morning all and a special Good morning to our lovely Lyn x Always here for you Lyn.

Well our holiday clock has been switched off along with the sunshine and I am back on the PC with the background of the Sunday morning bells.

We did a car boot last Monday by the caravan and pleased to report we took £140 .That gave us a bit of holiday money and funded a few meals out etc.

Have to give my veggie patch some much needed attention today.

Well I'm off out shortly, taking the other half of the tribe out for the day. It was all the youngsters yesterday. today its the turn of the older ones. I think its more or less been decided on Drayton Manor, the trouble is at this age its hard to get an easy answer. See you later.

Well we are back in one piece after a good, if somewhat damp day. Glad to say that is the bulk of family duties over until Christmas except for the odd Birthday or two.

Seems like its been a quiet day here.

Well you can't have everything. I didn't mind getting wet but what I needed was a pair of earmuffs. I was the only male.
