Bitter bitter cold here but the sun is out so hopefully may warm up a tad.

Have to find another place to walk the dogs as the access road to our field is sheet ice,I managed to stay upright yesterday but several people slipping and one youg lad went down hard on his backside.I felt that,his legs just went straight out in front of him.

I fell twice last year in Meriden in the snow,not something I want to repeat.

I am off to a volunteers Christmas lunch today...should be good.

The best way to beat the cold, is to stop in bed until the streets are aired. Denise I see that the council are giving the protesters in Meriden a hard time. They applied to site a portacabin over the winter and have been told to take the temporary shelter that they have now down before it will be considered. Or they have got to apply for retrospective planning permission for it.

Well had a lovely Christmas lunch with my fellow vounteers.

A good menu choice but I had the traditional lunch,all for £10.We went to The olive tree in Tamworth street.

Lovely food.

The committee or whatever they call themselves paid for all the wine and the coffee so a good deal.

Felt quite mellow,popped in for a quick hair cut on the way home and now got to face the dog walk again.So cold it hurts your nose and throat.Maybe the Alcohol will keep me going.

The pools here are frozen over ,feel sorry for the birds.Very Christmas card.

I mean years ago she wanted an animal skin coat.
I got her a Donkey Jacket.
