Denise

The amount of time he spends there and the excuses he makes to go there it can only mean one of three things. He does have shares in the place, he meets a paramour there (thats a fine old fashioned word) or he meets his pusher there. Myself I'd plump for the middle one.

Hi Hero and the rest of our great Sunday congregation:
1 I do not own a Cafe.
2 I am not a shareholder in a Cafe
3 I do not go into a Cafe every single day.
4 I do go out of my way to get good food, as opposed to just any greasy spoon.
5 I suggest other members do the same when it comes to pubs.
6 I have just had a Chinese Take-away.
7 No my life is not food governed.
8 It's just that I eat nothing else.
9 I eat early in the morning.
10 I work for most of the day
11 To keep the poor pensioners, who like to have a lie in.
12 That way they can eat where they like.
13 Maybe the Bully Cafe
14 At their time of day there will be room for them.
15 All this because, SB is kind enough to eat early and Leave the place in good time, ........for the
Doddery Diners.
16 I do hope this satisfies the inquisitive.

Correct Bernie Boy...and good evening. I thought I was going to be alone on here tonight. Everyone else must be in some backstreet pub or other. SB

Good evening all,

In reply to point no 11 in you list SB, this retired person would like to point out that although he does like to have a lie in bed until the streets are aired he gets no funding from the state whatsoever and is unlikely to do so for another two years and that might be three now. When he does most of it will be grabbed back in tax to help others who are less fortunate. Something I do not mind at all.

In reply to point 12 although I have used most of the greasy spoons in Birmingham I much prefer to dine at home these days, where my wife will prepare my steak just as I like it.

Iv'e just heard a sad story.
A snail was crossing a road when he was run over by a Tortoise.

A police snail turned up and asked "What happened pal"
The snail replied
"I don't know it all happened so fast" [Laugh Out Loud]
