My grandson in the RAF in the Falklands at the moment has just sent me these two photos, he says it's an absolute dump and can't wait to get home (another 4 weeks).

It's also very nice, sunny and clear here today so far. If somewhat chilly, but we can't have everything anything is better than yesterday.

Was he on his own?

No it's a sad thing really, I liked Tony Curtis. I don't think he got the recognition he deserved even though I though him a bit of a big head. There again aren't most celebrities?

John

Do you ever get down to Eastbourne at all is so whats your opinion? I spent four days there a couple of years back. We were booked into the hotel for a week, but after 4 days we headed home. We just couldn't take any more. The hotel was fine, but you can't sit in a hotel for a week.
