Volty I remember the seafood shop in Brighton, but what was so funny? I also remember the cafe with the pinball machines, which we couldn't keep off (the only time in my life I ever played them) and the little pub with the Bar Billiards table. I havn't even seen one of those since. The Sunday Jazz session in that big pub was very good too. That was a good week y'know.
Yes SB, my first holiday without the folks. Please work out the crustacean joke for yourself. I remember the cafe and the pub, I think the cafe was on the front up toward the nudist beach. I expect that is where the marina is now. The pub was just down the road from Kiwi's place, I bought my first set of darts at that pub and still have them. We used to go in the Alahmbra pub which was down near the front, perhaps there was a wax museum next door to it? Another pub had sherry barrels all lined up behind the bar and a big fireplace. VM
