Now its has got to have been a problem with the site, because after three days it has righted itself. When I first logged on this morning it was the same I could not see any images and no header banner. I have just logged in again and there is no problem, everything is back to normal.

I haven't had any trouble, I am using Safari.
The thing with all these web browsers it that while they all convert the same HTML code into web pages, they also have their individual ways of handling the code.
Some browsers ignore certain code because it isn't in their library. When writing webpages there are a whole load of things the author has to be aware of in order to maintain compatibility, for instance some browsers will tolerate missing end of line codes and some will simply ignore the whole line.

My guess is that Xobor have rewritten a few things and then found some errors and incompatibilities. They wouldn't have done anything directly with our page as it is newly written by software for each user each time it is opened, but they may well have been tinkering with their software.

Always having the most up to date version of your chosen browser is the best way of ensuring good results.
Also, don't be afraid to install some other browsers. I would recommend Windows users to install Safari for Windows and perhaps use it in preference to IE, it does things differently but is more user friendly and tolerant than IE. Google Chrome is worth installing but only use it when trouble occurs with your main choice of browser.

For those with an interest, I have just replaced the initial black toner cartridge in my £80 Samsung laser printer after 15 months use. The colour toners are still half full. During this time I have never had cause to lose my temper with the printer, it starts up silently, works quietly and shuts down quietly and without fuss.

My Epson inkjet was never able to perform in this manner and was a constant source of irritation whilst consuming around £90 worth of ink per year for same amount of use as the laser gets.
The new black toner cartridge contains at least half as much again as the initial cartridge and cost £35.

I use IE and Chrome never had any bother as such.
Volty I have a Canon Pixma i4500 with 2 black and 3 colour cartridges which cost £20 the set from 999 inks.

Signman,

It wasn't the cost of ink that stopped me using my Epson Photo PX700W, it was the five minute performance it put on every time I switched it on and then again if I asked it to print anything.
There was also a shut down performance, all of which were wasting ink and my time.

I have bought some cheap cartridges from Amazon for my old Epson inkjet and they work well. I gave it one of the five colours it did a head clean and ink charge and then demanded two more, I didn't even get to print anything in the interval. I have tried cheap inks in the past and it always ended in the demise of the machine. The only reason I am keeping it is because it has a scanner and stands in as a photocopier, I couldn't communicate with it for nine months so I know I don't need it for printing. It's days are numbered.

The laser printer is so much more user friendly I wouldn't mind if it was more expensive to run than an inkjet, but it isn't.

Why does the Canon have two black cartridges?

Volty, one of the black cartridges is classed as a toner or shader, which is used to tone down colours,it isn't a pure black but is slightly biased to a brown /blue tone,it saves using the pure black as a mixer.

I just tried to print something on my Epson and after five minutes of whining it demanded another two cartridges then went ahead and printed a pile of junk.
The temptation to do it some serious harm is overwhelming.

If it had one fitted when I bought it they certainly didn't mention it in the sales literature.
How do I disable it then SB, how did you disable yours?

You don't notice it when it is working properly, as then , in addition to your copy, it smoothly sends of a copy of the item to the local police station. It is when it is not working properly an dcan;t send off this copy that it whirrs and clicks !
