Mikejee,
I always named my MP3 files with the artists full and correct name first, eventually I decided to drop the word "THE" wherever it appeared as the first word because there were way too many files listed under T.
iTunes automatically displays the artists without the word "THE" and I prefer it that way.
I propose we only list old fashioned pubs and not restaurants, whether they serve food or not.
We could list the pubs in the old fashioned, or it it military?, way.
Blakesley, The, Address Here.
British Oak, The, Address Here.
Chestnut Tree, The, Address Here.
Royal Oak, The, Address Here.

I agree Volty, but just thought it shoul be made clear. the restaurant bit is less easy to say, as , to my mind, many so-called pubs are restaurants really even though they used to be pubs, and some are really clubs which happen to open early in the evening and sometimes at lunchtimes.

Foul.
SB, Wetherspoons isn't an old pub that we are glad hasn't closed.
If we include it in the list then we have to include all boozy restaurants and also wine bars.

They have only been open a short time and have no history. Not really my idea of a pub but on the list it will go.

If we limit the list to "my idea of a pub" it will be a very short list of pubs I have never been in.
Here is the list so far The Definitive List of Old Birmingham Pubs that still trade.

Maybe SB, but I doubt if there is one single person in the EMBER organisation that knows a thing about brewing, running a pub, or anything important to the industry. They are all just parasite administrators, just out to squeeze as much money out of the industry as they can.
