Here you are Lyn a few more photo of the Stonebridge Hotel, I think it must have been demolished sometime in the 70's but I'm not sure of that. I'm sure if you ask Graham he would know as I was only a baby then.

Yeh right, sure, of course, no doubt, why not, dream on.

I have only ever known this place as The Malt Shovel Stonebridge, far as I know it's still there, it was a Toby Carvery.

The Malt Shovel is still there, its a Toby Inn now, but I had some good nights there in the 70's before it was messed up. The Stonebridge hotel was over the other side of the traffic Island diagonally

In that case I didn't know the Stonebridge hotel Phil I've only ever known the Malt Shovel there.

As I have said Graham I think it was still there in the early 70's when we used to go out to Packington Land Fill Site and the Brick quarry down by there. Though if I am honest I have no real recollection of it. There were that many pubs about in those days that they didn't all register.
Here is a pic taken in the early 1900s outside the Stonebridge Hotel of the couple who took in my nan at the age of 8 months after her parents died just one day apart and how well they brought her up too..George and Maud Doyle sitting at the front..
