The Vine Inn, Villa Street

It took me years to find a pic of this pub which was just accross the road from our house in Villa Street which we moved into into 1958 and left in 1972..this was one of our dads locals as he did have a few lol...he played darts for the Vine and won many trophies over the years..looking at this pic the years just seem to roll back as we spent many happy hours in the gardens of the pub with our crisps and lemonade and when I got to about 14 dad would take me into the bar and taught me to play darts...happy days indeed..last orders was in november 1978 by the middle 80s the whole of Villa St had been demolished.

If anyone looking in has anymore pics of the Vine or indeed Villa St I would love to see them.
