Hurricane Florence

#1 by Voltman , Fri Sep 14, 2018 2:22 pm

Hurricane Florence has made land fall in North Carolina.
Despite all the warning and evacuations there is video footage of people walking about in the wind and flood water.
One moron is even walking his drowning dog. Too thick to live if you ask me.

From the BBC rolling report.

17:31 14 Sep
Local shelter opens up to displaced dogs
A local dog shelter in Wake Forest, North Carolina opened up its doors to dozens of dogs from shelters that were forced to evacuate due to the hurricane.
Local residents have offered even more help for the 124 dogs, the News & Observer reports, and all the animals have found "hurricane homes" to take care of them through the storm.
Sometimes, government shelters are forced to euthanise animals before hurricanes due to over-crowding.
