The sky is overcast in an unusual manner today. The cloud cover is 100% but just thick enough to make the sun look like a red disc.

Earlier today we read that the red sky was as a result of sand being whipped up in The Sahara. Now the BBC News is saying that it is a result of Forest Fires in Siberia. You may take your pick. Personally I think it's The EU bleeding us dry so much that the Blood Bank is leaking.

Don't know about the colour, but the sun is probably hidden by the large amounts of money leaving the country as those abroad realise Boris is soon to lead the country, thus leading to a collapse of the economy

It was a mixture of smoke and sand.
The storm came from the South, so Siberia isn't in the equation. The smoke is from forest fires in Portugal and Spain, the sand was whipped up from the Sahara desert.

Sorry that should have read Iberia not Siberia.

Last night was somewhat stormy. After two days of rain we had constant lightning and thunder and a massive downpour.
It's a wonder the garden survived at all, just as the roses are coming into bloom the weather tries to destroy them.

As we might have expected we are going to have to pay for our recent good weather.

More stormy weather on the way.

On a very personal and a somewhat selfish note, I hope it hammers down for a week.
