Exploding Headphones

It's Lithium batteries again.
Strange how often these things come to light on flights. If your head catches fire on the toilet do you just ignore it?

If I could be certain it would happen, i can think of a few politicians I would gladly purchase the headphones for.

Apple are making Bluetooth earpieces, at great expense to the consumer, to cash in of the fact that they are no longer fitting headphone sockets to their devices.
Although I can't see anything in Apple's on-line data about the type of battery in them it will almost certainly be Lithium.
That's a battery in each ear and one in the pocket for the charging pod. I'd be very nervous about that.
