The US won't bomb us, who would they get to run their errands and back them up when they are in the wrong?

You kiddin we would still be daft enough to do it. Politicians don't run politics, money does.

I wonder if I might be allowed to supply them with a few target addresses?

Are you kidding?
Slow payers?
Only as slow as I allow, any slower and they aren't a customer, non customers who owe me money get an unpleasant and very dark visit.
I had some far more deserving targets in mind, like murderous illegal immigrants for instance.

Perhaps we could have a whip round and buy a second hand drone and take it in turns nominating targets

Do you find that the bigger an outfit is the slower they pay. The trouble is it is not always easy to refuse to work for them because they are often the ones who hand out the most work. I always found the Government and Councils the slowest payers.

Phil,
I'm lucky regarding the bigger customers, who are city main contractors, because my mate deals with them and I deal with him.
I do know that he pays me before they pay him, sometimes it takes them three months to pay. The city themselves pay very quickly these days.
My customers are all good payers, which is a self governing situation as in if they don't pay quick enough they aren't a customer any more.
I would never contract to any of the big firms who think 6 months or more is an acceptable delay, I'm not a bank.

Councils used to be notoriously slow in paying

We worked for the health Authority and we had skips in every hospital in Birmingham at one time. We waited months for payment sometimes, but as it was so go a contract we never complained. We won the contract every year for about five years on the trot with our prices cut to a minimum, then we lost out to another company for 50p a skip difference in price.
I knew the firm that won the contract, and I also knew that there was no way they could beat our price. When it came time to remove our skips the head buyer asked me if I could delay removing them for another month because the new contractor was not quite ready. I said that I would, this went on every month for 12 months.
You can imagine how flabbergasted I was when we lost out on the tender again last year but the final straw was when they told me that it was the same company that had won again. I had an all out row with the Supplies Officer and asked him if according to contract clauses he had charged the defaulting contractor the difference it had cost the Health Authority between thew price quoted and what we had charged. He obviously hadn't because he wasn't happy with me asking the question.
I just told him all our skips would be removed from the sites around Birmingham by the required date. Would you believe that before that date arrived he came back to me asking for a months extension. I told him that unless he was prepared to give me a two year contact that my skips would be gone. He said he couldn't do that so I got them all out and left him in one hell of a mess, I hope he got the sack.

I knew someone who worked at GKN he reckoned that they only paid out on one day a year, so if you just missed that date tough.
