I'll bet most of it's just rubbish.

Pointless is pointless[Silly Grin]

Have to agree Astwood Pointless is Brainless.

I went off it when the big Dick (Richard) announced that his neighbours cat was for kicking.
If I ever meet the lanky git he's going to feel my boot.

Furthermore, the program proclaims him as a genius, thank you very much indeed.
They have a team of researchers for the questions, the answers come largely from the 100 people they ask and his laptop is just a prop, it doesn't work.
Everything he has ever been involved with, such as Deal No Deal, is utter garbage.

Not a fan of Pointless, though will say that the questions are often very hard, and diverse, unlike most other awful quiz programs. But it still has the coached audience applause and the slimy presenters

The contestants even applaud themselves.

It's playing the clap that puts me off things like Strictly Come Dancing. The audience bring their own instruments and aren't afraid to play them throughout the entire show, including the dances. It's pathetic and annoying.

Personally, I find the endless reality TV programmes we are subjected a real bore!

Thoroughly agree, though most are not really reality, but a mock up of it. The awful Bare Grylls does a stunt and then goes for a drink and sleeps in a luxury hotel. The revolting "celebrities" go into a jungle (so I'm told having fortunately never watched it) face deadly spiders, with health and safety consultants just behind the camera etc.

These so called jungles often have civilisation just a few hundred yards away.

On all of these rubbish shows, the voting system is always the same. In fact the shows are all the same, no imagination. I t's coming up to Easter I think a few producers and designers should be crucified.

What annoys me is the term Celebrity. I have never heard of most of em. I really think that anyone wo has been in an advert once is instantly a celebrity.
A Celebrity should be someone who is celebrated. Not someone who has played a murder victim in Eastenders for five minutes.

Most of the so called celebrities are in fact nobody and have never done anything except get noticed on some crappy teality TV show.
Almost all of them are talentless and none of them are as amusing as most of the people I know.

Given the chance we could all be a "Celebrity"

Not sure about the last statement, or indeed whether most sensible people would want to, but thoroughly agree with the initial paragraph
