Lampedusa Closed Due To Invaders

The tiny Mediterranean island of Lampedusa is suffering from migrants / illegal immigrants ruining the tourist trade.

Judging by the state of this beach it would appear the locals are hardly busy encouraging legitimate visitors ..

It has been mentioned in the Montalbano series.
I was going to stop off there in my yacht but now I think I'll give it a miss.
