Got to do it all again tomorrow. I suppose we'll play another game of cricket again.

I will do something tonight that I very rarely do and only did twice over Christmas. Watch television I'm watching the tribute and life story of Tommy Cooper tonight no matter what else happens. Over Christmas I watch the one for Eric Morcambe and the one for Ernie Wise. In my mind three of the greats from yesterday.

Don't blame you Phil, I wouldn't miss the Tommy Cooper programme a true comedian and clown.

Not so cool as it happens.
I reset the backplane in a BMS, in one of the city's luxury hotels, only to find the program eprom wasn't onboard. Now its just a big doorstop.

A BMS is "Building Management System", in this case it controls the heating and ventilation plant.
Backplane is the computer circuit board that the input / output control cards plug into. The program that operates the plant should be resident and running on the backplane.
If the program crashes or starts to play up then pressing the reset button is the usual way to restart the program in the hope it will run correctly. The program should live onboard in an integrated circuit and be loaded into memory when the reset is pressed. In this instance the IC is missing.
Doorstop is what I call heavy dead electronic equipment, all it's fit for now is propping doors open.
