morning all and seasons greetings,.

new grandson arrived on friday 23 at 10.25 pm weighing 6lbs 15 ozs. mother and baby came out of hospital lunch time yesterday, i was looking after the other one 19th mnt old. he was fine, if i kept my eye on him, he likes switching the gas cooker on. i managed to tire him out tho and he went to bed at 7.30 and woke at 6.00 in mornings, i alas did not sleep as i kept waking to see if he was still breathing, lol.

i was knackered yesterday after he went home so slept most of the day. was a different type of christmas.

steph

Lyn

All I had to drink yesterday was one glass of shampoo with dinner and a glass of Bucks Fizz after. A big change from the days I fell in the Christmas Tree.

thanks all, not had a drop of the hard stuff all over the holiday needed to keep my wits about me looking after little one whilst his brother was being born. can you just imagine in 18yrs time when he goes out to celebrate his birthday and christmas, i think that year he will spend christmas day in bed with a hangover. lol.

oh, dear i do worry about these young mums (well 33) it is their second baby and they are saying that (not three days old) he wont sleep in his moses basket so they had to take him into bed, i v kept my mouth shut (difficult for me i know) but hey are they making a rod for their own back or what.

the first son, 19th month, does not want to look at his baby brother, when he was first introduced to him he prodded him to see if he would move, a bit like the singing santas and snowmen we have around, but was not impressed when he did nothing, matthew wrinkled his nose up and looked as if to say im not impressed with that. i am sure they will get there tho.

going to take myself off for a walk to clear my head and then have a relaxing day.

steph

Yes thank you old girl, (ouch) I found some jolly nice fruit juices in my wardrode, to wit a couple of Gran Reserva Riojas and some fizzy stuff so not a bad coming out party, if I say so myself.

If you are referring to that warming refreshment from prehistoric times that taste herby, spicy and alocoholly, ooops , then I have to say that's rather unkind of you.
But in the spirit of Christmas spirits I forgive you.
