I've never heard of laptop desks. what stops the laptop sliding off the desk? ?. I f nothing does, then why use them? I'm old fashioned though, still can't see why cars don't have wind-down windows, where you know the handle is for opening the window, and don't don't do something else instead because you press the wrong button

In our day if such things as lap tops had been available to us we would have used a piece of plywood cut to size or the side of a packing case. I had never heard of laptop desks either, we bought them carrying cases for the laptops as well. There again we would have used paper carrier bag or a school satchel if we were posh.
