I'm away this weekend, I'm taking some of the great grandchildren and grandchildren to that dreadful place Blackpool to see the lights. If Walsall still had theirs at the Arboretum I could have took them there and conned them into thinking it was Blackpool.
So SB can you take over as master of ceremonies on the weekly photo competition, I should be back by Monday hopefully. Thats if I don't get snowed in according to some weather forecasters.

Didn't you get both, one each side of the bar mirror?

Thanks Denise, but I'm not going until the weekend and I don't expect to have a good time other than seeing the kids enjoy themselves. As I have said it's not a place that I would choose to go. Oddly enough my avatar photo was taken at The Pleasure Beach Nightclub in the late 60's one of my last gasps of freedom.

I don't think we will even be going inside the Pleasure Beach at all. The kiddies are far too young for that sort of thing and are happy with the little 50p rides in the amusement arcades. Anyway I don't really see me and the wife and three kids paying around £140 to perhaps use about 3 or 4 kiddy rides.

totally agree phil...never touch the pleasure beach unless you know for sure that you will get your moneys worth from the wristbands...
