Morning all.............today we have a hog roast in The Close,Auction of the pigs by Charles Hanson and a band.It has stopped raining so hope it stays dry.

Yesterday we had the 2011 dash.
Each runner has to run round the cathedral to beat the chimes of the cathedral clock at 12 noon.

This is done to a backdrop of vangelis,s chariots of fire.

Hi All

Sorry for going missing, but I've been laid up in bed all week with a really bad gastric bug, but I am on the up now although still very weak and tired. I will try to join in more over the next few days. Thanks Denise for reminding people about voting in the competition and to get their votes in by midnight tonight. Hopefully I will announce a winner in the morning. Sorry I wasn't able to take part this week.
