Good morning to everyone, heat wave ! it's damp and dismal here visibility about 100 yards. Lynn, don't know much about the engine other than it was found in a field and is one of only 4 left in the world, 2 in New Zealand and another one in this country. It's a 1912 Foden steam traction engine and when finished should look like this. The cladding has to go round the boiler with brass straps and then be lined, as does the large fly wheel and its cover. The photo is o fanother Foden but different year and type.

Great work John, not easily accessible those spokes are they. so you have 24 spokes both sides, is 96 spokes on the back wheels alone. without the front wheels and body parts. No wonder we havn't seen you. do you think he will want it done every year?
