Bought this yesterday for a tenner, I can pretend I'm in the cafe or the pub when I'm eating or drinking.

Morning all, nice weather for ducks, I have read the comments above and will sort out a new "Topic of the Day" if that is what is wanted which will differ from the "In The News Today" thread I would imagine by not being only about current news items, but on any topic whatsoever.

Now to get back to Alf, I'm afraid as I have said he wouldn't know one end of a computer from the other and he doesn't even own one. You would think that his son being in charge of the computer section of a large banking concern he would have some idea but there is not a glimmer of understanding or even a hint of wanting to.

I'll have to see if I can bring him along if we can manage a meet up sometime, but I'm warning you to wear your running shoes. I can take Alf anywhere "once".

Lyn

You don't know Alf, he might be in his 70's now but the trouble is he still thinks he is about 20. Here is a rather poor photo I caught of him berating me in the club that we used to use and where he nearly got us thrown out of. Its where I met my wife as a matter of fact. So if he had of succeeded we would never have met. If you do ever meet him and want to annoy him just sat "good game, good game"
