Yes I would imagine all the money sent out of this country to supposed dependants abroad greatly affects our balance books.

I know that at one time, proof that money being sent out of the country was all that was needed to claim tax allowances for dependants abroad.

My Mum made the most wonderful stew,never been able to match it but I do try.She can only do simple stuff now due to her arthritic hands.It is something I always enjoy,we can not all like the same things.

that is one of the nice things about winter months, stew and dumplings of course. i come from up north so we always had lancashire hotpot made with lamb. home made soup is another favourite of mine, winter cooking smells so nice and comforting.
