I'm off to Tesco at the Swan, just got to get past the charity muggers in order to get in. Perhaps today is the day one of them gets hurt for shaking the tin once too often. If they were to get a proper job and then give their hard earned to their favourite charity they wouldn't need stand in the doorway to shopping centres intimidating people. At least the Cat charity has a table of goods and works hard for their income, they don't shout at you and shake a tin.
Volty there is a word for them its Chuggers and there are moves afoot to get it owtlawed in Birmingham at least. They are a nightmare in town and the Red Cross are by far the worst. Although I was a Red Cross ambulanceman for a while I wouldn't give them Jack. I only donate to local/English charities now.

Morning each
It's getting annoying now that every single Saturday they are collecting outside the supermarket for one charity or another, I don't see why I should make regular contributions by mandate and then part with all my spare change when I pass them in the street. Besides there are certain charity's that I refuse to donate to, the RSPCA being one of them. I would rather give money to Ray Dedicoat at Hollytrees anytime.
